Anticoagulation Clinic

Munson Healthcare’s anticoagulation clinic supports patients who are on blood thinners like warfarin/Coumadin by offering minimally invasive testing to ensure their blood is clotting appropriately and to providing follow-up care when needed. 

Staffed by specially trained pharmacists, our clinics work closely with primary care providers on medication management. Test results and dosage recommendations are shared with primary care providers, ensuring continuity of care.

Our team is also able to support patients when a medical procedure requires their blood thinner be stopped. 

A provider referral is required. Talk to your primary care provider to find out if you could benefit from this service. 

Although anticoagulation management is covered by most insurances, patients are encouraged to check with their health insurance provider to understand covered benefits.
