Heart-Healthy Dark Chocolate Oat Bars

These chewy oat bars are loaded with heart-healthy ingredients like oats, dark chocolate, and flax seeds. Better yet, this sweet treat is even gout and gluten-free friendly!
Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup fat-free Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- ½ cup artificial sweetener brown sugar blend
- 1 ½ cups quick oats
- 2 tablespoons milled flaxseed
- ¼ cup bittersweet chocolate chips or bittersweet baking bar broken into small chunks
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8X8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Whisk together the egg, yogurt, and brown sugar. Blend in oats and flaxseed. Add chocolate chips. Spread mixture in an 8-inch-square pan coated with cooking spray. Bake for 30 minutes. Cut into 12 bars.
