We offer a variety of exercise equipment, including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stair steppers, stationary bikes, rowing machines, Cybex weight machines, and a free weight room. Memberships and day passes are available to the public and include free, unlimited classes.

Betsie Hosick Health & Fitness Center is a full-service fitness facility, serving the greater Benzie County community.  BHHFC provides a welcoming atmosphere for all fitness levels! Beginners to advanced are encouraged to stop by during regular hours for a tour of the facility.

Hours of operation: 

  • Monday-Thursday 6am-8pm
  • Friday 6am-1pm
  • Saturday 8am-12noon

Day passes, short-term and annual memberships are available for purchase.

  • Visitors and lapsed members must show their photo ID at check-in.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany minors 17 and younger on their first visit to sign waivers. Youth policy
  • BHHFC partners with Silver Sneakers/Prime, Silver & Fit/Active & Fit, and RenewActive. 

All major credit cards, cash or checks are accepted. Apple Pay is not accepted at this time.


Be Class-y

We're excited to offer a variety of group fitness classes taught by our own BHHFC specialists. Virtual classes are also available. Advance registration for in-person classes is suggested. Both are included in an active BHHFC membership or with the purchase of a day pass. Pilates, Cardio, Yoga and Tai Chi, as well as functional motion classes are all part of our regular schedule.

Be Well

Fall 2024 session of The Journey Program begins in September! 

The Journey Program is a free 10-week exercise session for newly diagnosed cancer patients, those undergoing treatment, in remission and up to two years post treatment. Pre-registration and a physician referral are required. 

 

Fall 2024 session of Active Steps begins in September! 

Active Steps is a free 10-week exercise, nutrition and support class for people that have been diagnosed with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or are on dialysis.
