Ambulatory Management: Education Information and Resources

In preparation for the One Patient Record changes, please plan to:

1. Download the class registration tracker:

2. Complete the registration information for yourself and all care team members within your organization for the correct class or classes and submit the registration requests by emailing MHC-Healthstream before November 25, 2024. Class registration requests will be prioritized from the date and time the email is sent. 
   1. Class offerings may be viewed in HealthStream. Registration for yourself may also be done in Healthstream if preferred.
   2. Management is to submit the class registration for all care team members to align the class dates and times with the practice schedule. Classes are offered at 3 regional locations: Charlevoix, Manistee, and Munson Medical Center.​
   3. Register care team members for one session for ALL relevant class types offered based on the team member’s job duties (staff who perform multiple job duties may need to attend multiple classes). ​

   4. Management is to attend AT LEAST ONE class session for EACH of the class types offered to aid in learning and understanding the EHR functionality and expectations of all healthcare team members to develop the best processes for the practice(s) and serve as an EHR support resource.​
   5. Register care team members for one session for the relevant classes:​
      1. OPR Ambulatory Clerical PowerChart and Revenue Cycle Class​
      2. OPR Ambulatory Clinical PowerChart Class​
         1. There are separate Clinical classes for the following: Diabetes Education, Audiology, and Pediatric Specialty Practices. These classes are not in Healthstream and will be arranged separately.​
      3. OPR Ambulatory Referral Management Class​
      4. OPR Ambulatory Provider PowerChart Class​
         1. There are separate Provider classes for Behavioral Health in Healthstream: OPR-Behavioral Health Provider PowerChart Class
         2. CHX ambulatory provider classes are optional
         3. Audiology provider classes are not in Healthstream and will be arranged separately
   6. Register yourself for each of the following:​
      1. OPR Ambulatory Clerical PowerChart and Revenue Cycle Class​
      2. OPR Ambulatory Clinical PowerChart Class​
         1. There are separate Clinical classes for the following: Diabetes Education, Audiology, and Pediatric Specialty Practices​
      3. OPR Ambulatory Referral Management Class​
      4. OPR Ambulatory Provider PowerChart Class​
         1. There are separate provider classes for Behavioral Health in Healthstream: OPR-Behavioral Health Provider PowerChart Class​
   7. Class Schedules are separated by class locations:​
      1. OPR CHX Ambulatory Care Team Class Schedules​ 
      2. OPR MAN Ambulatory Care Team Class Schedules
      3. OPR MMC Ambulatory Care Team Class Schedules
3. Watch for HealthStream courses that will be assigned on November 11. These need to be completed prior to attending any class.
4. Review the HealthStream reports for your care team members and verify HealthStream courses assigned are being completed prior to their class dates.
5. Attend classes registered for and ensure your organization is attending the registered classes.
   1. Contact MHC-EHR Education for any changes needed after November 25,2024.
6. Be ready for the January 25^th launch:
   • Open the Ambulatory Management | Munson Healthcare website section.
   • Add this website section to the Internet Favorites bar for future quick access.
     1. Click the Favorites star icon.
     2. Click Done.

• On the left side of the page, click on the role-specific down arrow to access a list of topics and 

  review the education resources.
