Outstanding Safety Champion Award

The Outstanding Safety Champion Award is given to an individual who, during the past year, has:

• Made significant contributions to advancing a culture of safety at Munson Medical Center and related entities (Munson Medical Center, Munson Home Health, North Flight, Munson Medical Group, Munson Support Services, Munson Dialysis Services, Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation, NMSA, or Munson Services)
• Demonstrated exceptional commitment to reducing medical errors and/or employee injury
• Emulated safety as a self-responsibility
• Set high standards for safety of both patients and staff
• Motivated and inspired the people around them toward safety practices
• Consistently demonstrated behaviors that support the organizational value of safety

Who is eligible?

Any actively employed individual or medical staff member from Munson Medical Center, Munson Home Health, North Flight, Munson Medical Group, Munson Support Services, Munson Dialysis Services, Munson Healthcare Foundations, Northern Michigan Supply Alliance, and Munson Services Inc.

Nominate your team member by completing the form below. Winners will be chosen by a cross-functional team and invited with a guest to the Health Care Team Recognition Dinner on Monday, May 18 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
