Do you know a Safety Champion? A Safety Champion is someone who:

  • Consistently uses Munson Healthcare’s safety behaviors to prevent injuries or exposures.
  • Sets a good example for safety in the workplace.
  • Advocates for positive changes that help create and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Encourages or inspires others to act safely.
  • Actively promotes safety through their actions.
  • Promotes the use of safety devices/equipment to prevent/reduce the risk of injury.
  • Has a general passion for safety that’s exhibited in their daily work.

PRIZES! – In each hospital area (which includes our hospitals and surrounding ambulatory locations), four Summer Safety Camp CoolCare T-shirts will be awarded to Healthcare Team members:

  • 3 T-shirts will be awarded to nominated Safety Champions (these prizes will be awarded based the quality of the nomination).
  • 1 T-shirt will be awarded to Healthcare Team members who took the time to nominate a Safety Champion (these prizes will be randomly drawn).

That’s 32 prizes in total!

Nominations are due on Fri., June 9 by 12 pm. All winners will be announced in The Compass on Mon., June 12.
